I was at this restaurant a first time in 2022 for a lunch, but returned in 2023 for a diner. Osteria Numero 7 is a typical, family-run restaurant that serves delicious local dishes at affordable prices. Sitting in the restaurant, you don’t have a nice view to the town’s harbour, but you absolutely don’t need that with the lovely food you can try here.
We did this restaurant during low vacation period and when you enter the restaurant you only Italian families eating it gives you a good sign. Simple food great flavors. Homemade pesto lasagna to die and sea food pasta with that family flavor that is amazing. Thanks for having us the waiter was very cool with us and gaves us plenty of recommendations of activities to do.
Great place for a dinner. Pasta with pesto was delicious. Definitely we recommend to try desserts which are homemade (tartelette with strawberries was amazing).
It’s a very hearty and cute eatery. Home style food with simple yet fresh ingredients. Very local filled with retirees - as if time slows down in here.
We only planned to grab something quick and we ended up adding one dish after another!

Oily food, vegetables at 6€ are just heated at microwave, and when you ask for parmesan you don't have..
Edit : they are faster to answer on Google than to heat vegetables on microwave. For your answer it's not the sausage who was oily but the 6€ vegetables cooked in the morning...
A traditional and cozy restaurant, the food was absolutely beautiful! The trofie is a must!
Excellent food in a nice location close to the center. I really enjoyed the fried anchovies as starter and the desserts. They are made by the owner of the restaurant they are simply delicious. Prices in line with other restaurants in the town. Having a meal here is highly recommended
Located just off the main strip you'd easily miss this restaurant, but you'd be short changing yourself. My wife and I wandered in and grabbed the last available table. We found that eating a little earlier than the crowds, (around 5:30), a good idea when in Santa Margherita. It's a little cramped inside like most of the other restaurants in town but the atmosphere is wonderful. The pasta dishes were the best we had in while staying in Santa Margherita Ligure.
When we were done there was a line outside of locals and I know why. This restaurant is fantastic.
I highly recommend this place.
